M P Joshi Associates is located in the Continental Chamber on Karve Road. We are down on the ground floor in Shop No 13. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to wait for the elevator, which can be pretty slow in this building. The shop is right on the Deccan Gymkhana side, close to the Chakan Shikrapur Road link. Karve Road is always buzzing with people, students, and commuters, so there is a lot of energy outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful. We’ve set up our workspace with a few long tables and some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full these days. It’s a typical office setup for a place like Pune, where every square inch of space counts. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea, which we do several times a day. The floor is that old-style tile that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We spend our hours here working through files and talking with anyone who stops by the shop. It’s a busy life, but being right there on the ground floor of the Continental Chamber makes us feel like we’re part of the neighborhood. We see the same people walking past every day. It’s not a polished corporate showroom; it’s just a working office where we keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the daily grind.
