We are over here in the Chinchwad MIDC area, specifically at 66/2, D-2. It is a busy industrial spot where there is always something going on. We have been making lenses and different kinds of optics for quite some time now. The workshop is not anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. You will find a lot of glass and machines running most of the day. It gets a little loud and dusty sometimes, but that is just part of the job. Some of our staff have been working these grinders for years and they really know what they are doing. We do not have a big corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, someone from the back just comes out if a visitor drops by. We mostly deal with other companies that need parts for their own products. It is hard work and requires a lot of focus so we do not make mistakes. Redoing a lens is a real waste of time and material. The neighborhood is full of other factories just like ours, so we fit right in. We just come in every morning, check the orders, and start the machines. It is a simple way of doing things. We do not spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get the shipments out when they are supposed to go. That is basically us.
