Lalchand Traders

We are based out of Gultekdi on Vasna Road 2. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out all the time. Our warehouse is where we spend most of our hours. It’s filled with sacks and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We trade in various goods and have been doing it this way for years. There is always a layer of dust on everything because of the location, but that's just how it is. We have a small office in the corner with a desk that has seen better days. Usually, there's a pot of tea sitting somewhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a fancy experience. It’s more about moving stock and making sure the counts are right. We don't use any high-tech systems, mostly just ledgers and some basic notes. The guys who help with the loading are like family to us. We’ve worked through the heat and the monsoons together. Some days the paperwork piles up and it gets stressful, but we manage. We just try to be fair and get the job done without making a big fuss. It’s a straightforward business. We open early when the market starts moving and close up once the last truck is gone. Nothing fancy about us, just keeping things moving day after day.
