La Zone Architects & Interior Designers

Our office is located at F S/3 on Baner Road. It’s a busy street, but we’ve found our little corner here. We do a mix of architecture and interior design, so there are always fabric swatches and tile samples lying around. It can get a bit messy, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project. We’ve been working out of this space for a while now. The building is simple, and we haven’t done much to change it besides adding our desks and computers. Baner has grown a lot, and we’ve seen more buildings pop up around us every year. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporate office. We just want a place where we can focus on our drawings. Often, we are out visiting sites, so the office might be quiet during the day. When we are all here, there’s a lot of talking and debating about colors or structural details. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. We drink a lot of chai and spend hours looking at blueprints. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re trying to get a layout just right. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We like being on Baner Road because it feels connected to the rest of the city. We just keep doing our thing and seeing what comes next for the neighborhood and our small workspace.
