Kwality Plastics

Kwality Plastics is located on Street Number 12/7, Gill Road 13 in Pune. We operate out of a warehouse-style building where we handle a lot of plastic goods. We have big machines that make various household items like buckets and mugs. It’s a noisy place and the heat from the molds can be quite intense during the summer months. We have stacks of finished products piled high in the corners. Pune is a big city but Gill Road feels like its own little world. It’s always crowded with tempos and people moving goods. We supply to many of the smaller shops in the city. My brother handles the workers and I look after the orders. We don't use much technology here, mostly just old-fashioned hard work. The floor is usually covered in small bits of plastic that we sweep up at the end of the shift. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy. We have been here for a long time and the building is starting to show its age. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing them. That’s just part of the business. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. We just talk to people on the factory floor. It is a simple life of making and selling things that people use every day.
