Kristech Instruments

Our place is at 19/17 Sinhagad Road, specifically on Jeejamata Rd. We are quite close to Madhukar Hospital, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Working with instruments means we have to keep things relatively clean, though there is always some dust that finds its way in. The workshop has a few benches where we do the assembly and testing. It isn't a factory floor, just a small, dedicated space where we can work with our hands. Sinhagad Road is notoriously busy, so the sound of traffic is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We have various tools and gauges sitting around on the shelves. Some of them are brand new and others have been used for a thousand different jobs. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the back where the work happens. The lighting is bright because we need to see the small parts clearly. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep things from being too quiet. It’s a lot of manual work and patience. We take our time with things because rushing usually leads to mistakes. Most days are spent hunched over a workbench, making sure everything is calibrated right. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of town.
