We are over at the Mountain View Society, which is part of the Shivaji Housing Society on Senapati Bapat Road. If you are familiar with Pune, you know this area is usually pretty active. We are in the B 1 building. It’s a decent spot, though the "mountain view" is mostly other buildings these days. We’ve been operating Kpmg India from here for a bit, and it suits us fine. It isn’t a high-rise office block, just a more traditional setup in a residential-style neighborhood. We work at our own pace and don't really bother with all that corporate jargon. The office has desks, some chairs, and a lot of books and papers scattered around. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby hills come around, which is always a bit of a distraction for us. We just focus on the work at hand. People usually find us because they need something specific done and they know we are here. There is no big receptionist to greet you, just whoever happens to be near the door when you knock. We like the vibe of this part of Pune. It feels more like a community than just a cold business district. We’re just a regular crew doing our thing every day, trying to stay on top of the schedule and making sure everything gets filed away.
