Being in Chakan, we are surrounded by a lot of factories, but we haven't forgotten the farming roots of this area. Kolhe Agro Implements Private Limited is all about the tools that make a farmer's life a little bit easier. We aren't a giant manufacturing plant with robots. We are more of a hands-on workshop where things get built and fixed. We spend our days around the smell of metal and grease. It gets loud and it gets dirty, but that’s how you know work is getting done. We don't have a marketing department. If a farmer likes a tool we made, he tells his cousin or his neighbor. That is how we have always operated. We make things that are sturdy because we know they are going to be used in tough conditions. Sometimes we run out of parts or a shipment gets delayed, and we have to tell people to wait a few days. We try to be honest about what we can do. It’s a local business run by local people who understand what it’s like to work the land. We just try to build things that won't fall apart when you actually use them in the mud and the sun every single day.
