Out in Old Sanghvi, near Hunasamaranahalli on B B Road, you’ll see our sign for Sanjay Motors And Tractors. This place has been around for a while, and it’s usually quite busy. Tractors take up a lot of room, so the yard is always a bit of a puzzle to navigate. We have parts scattered around, some old tires leaning against the wall, and the smell of diesel is pretty much everywhere. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we know. I’ve been working with engines since I was a kid, so it felt natural to have a place like this. We don't have a clean, shiny floor like those fancy car dealerships in the city. Here, things are real and often covered in a bit of mud from the fields. We talk to farmers and drivers all day long. They don't want a sales pitch; they just want their equipment to work again. My cousin handles the books, and I handle the repairs with a couple of guys who are good with their hands. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just fix what’s broken and sell what’s needed. B B Road is always humming with traffic, which brings in people from all over the area. It’s a good spot for us. We’re just here, doing our thing with the tractors and motors, trying to keep everyone moving.
