Kiran Beauty Parlour

Kiran Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Sadashiv Peth neighborhood of Pune. We do not have a big, fancy storefront with glowing signs, just a simple wooden door that leads into our workspace. Our shop has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. Most people living around the 411030 zip code know exactly where we are. It stays relatively quiet inside unless we have a few customers all talking at once. We have the usual equipment like mirrors, some old styling chairs, and our tools laid out on the side tables. Because Sadashiv Peth is a more traditional area, we get a lot of older residents coming in, along with some college students from nearby. We don't use any of those high-end machines, just the basic stuff we have always used. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with work to get around to it. During the monsoon season, we often run out of space for all the wet umbrellas and bags that people bring inside. We just make do with the small space we have. It is a small operation and we handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the actual beauty work. There is no receptionist sitting at a desk here. If the bell rings, one of us just goes to see who it is. We stay open until the last customer is done.
