Kingfisher Airlines Cargo

Our warehouse is located over near the Lohagaon Airport, right on the Begur Main Road. It’s a big space where we handle all the air cargo coming through. Things move a bit differently here compared to the road transport guys because we have to follow all the airport rules and timing. It’s a lot of checking boxes, weighing things, and making sure the paperwork matches up with what’s inside the crates. The warehouse can get pretty cold or really hot depending on the time of year, but the work doesn't stop. We see everything from small parcels to big heavy crates that need a forklift. We aren't really the ones flying the planes, we just make sure the stuff gets on them or off them correctly. It’s a busy environment with a lot of staff running around. Sometimes the flights are delayed and the cargo sits for a while, which means we have to reorganize the whole floor to make room. We don't have a fancy front office for customers; it's mostly just the warehouse floor and a small side room for the records. It's practical work, focused on moving things fast. We deal with a lot of international and domestic shipments every day. It’s a lot of lifting and scanning, and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. The planes come and go, and we just keep pace with them. It can be tiring, but it keeps us on our toes all day long.
