Kiddy Garden

Our shop is number 599 on the 60 Feet Main Road in Pimpri. If you know where Janata Footwear is, we are right across the road from them. The Gurudwara is also very close by, so it’s a landmark we tell everyone to look for when they are coming to see us at Kiddy Garden. It’s a very busy street, especially on the weekends when families are out and about. The shop itself is filled with all sorts of things for kids, and it can get a bit cluttered sometimes because we keep getting new items in. We spend a lot of time just rearranging the shelves so people can see what we have. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps us busy through the day. The 60 Feet Road is always loud with horns and people talking, but once you step inside, the noise fades a little bit. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot in Pimpri that has been here for a while. Usually, we start the day by sweeping the front step and getting the displays ready for the morning walkers. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping things down to keep it clean. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We know the other shopkeepers on the block and we all sort of look out for each other. It’s just how things are on this side of town.
