You will find us over at Nanded City in Pune, specifically in the Sargam building, flat B-1308. It might seem a bit odd for a farmer company to have an office in a city apartment complex, but that is where we keep our records and handle the bits of business that don't happen in the field. Khomane Agro was started because we saw how the gap between the farm and the city was getting bigger and bigger. Most of us are still tied to the land outside the city, but we needed a central spot to manage the sales and the logistics. It is a small team, mostly family and close friends who have known each other for years. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. We just sit around the table, look at the numbers, and try to figure out the best way to move our crops. It is a lot of phone calls and driving back and forth between the fields and the city. We are trying to make sure the work we do on the farm actually pays off at the end of the year. It is not always pretty and we make mistakes, but we are doing our best to bridge that gap. We are just regular folks from the 411068 area working hard.
