Shubham Engineering Works Pune is situated at Sr. No. 28/1/3, which is right behind the Anand Hotel on Old Mundhwa Road. This area of Dhamodhar Nagar in Kharadi has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more crowded. Our workshop is in a spot that stays pretty busy because of the hotel traffic and the trucks moving along the main road. You can usually hear the sound of machines running from the street before you even see the gate. It is a practical space designed for heavy work, so don't expect it to be clean or quiet. There is grease on the floor and metal scraps in the corners, which is typical for a place like ours. We spend most of our time out on the floor handling whatever jobs come in. The sun hits the metal roof in the summer and it gets quite warm inside, but we keep the big doors open for a bit of a breeze. People find us easily because the Anand Hotel is such a well-known landmark around here. We don’t do much advertising; mostly it’s just people stopping by because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in Kharadi. The work is steady and keeps us on our toes from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a particular piece of equipment is giving us trouble. It’s just regular engineering work done by local guys who know their way around a lathe.
