K.D. Enterprises

K.D. Enterprises is tucked away on Law College Road, right in Prakash Bazar. If you know where the Nepali Mandir is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a narrow street, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high to fit everything in. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren’t used to it. We deal with various supplies that people in the area need for their homes or small projects. Most days, we’re just chatting with the neighbors or helping someone find a specific part they can’t find elsewhere. The temple nearby brings in a lot of people on certain days, which makes the bazar quite lively. We don't have any big slogans or flashy signs. It’s just the name on the front and some stock inside. Sometimes we forget to update the inventory list on time, but we usually know what’s in the back room by memory. Working in Prakash Bazar means you get to know everyone's business. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We keep things simple here and try to help out whoever walks in. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s home for us. We're usually here from morning until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
