If you go down Bhandarkar Institute Road, you’ll find us at 767/9. It’s a well-known area in Pune, and we’ve been here at K K Dani Consultants & Engineering for quite a while. We do engineering work and consulting, which mostly means we spend a lot of time looking at plans and trying to figure out how to make things work on paper before they get built. It’s not always the most exciting work to talk about at a party, but it’s important. We have a small office where we keep our files and drawings. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes with all the blueprints, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they have a project that needs a bit of technical oversight. We aren't a massive firm that takes over everything. We like to keep it personal. You talk to the people actually doing the work, not some middleman. Bhandarkar Road is a nice place to be based. There’s always someone stopping by or a phone ringing with a new question. We deal with various engineering problems every day. Some are easy, some take a lot of head-scratching.
