JOYONE DOORS LLP

Joyone Doors is based out in Shindewadi, over in the Bhor area of Pune. Our shop is at Gat No. 62, Plot No. 2. It’s a bit quieter out here than in the middle of Pune city, which we like. We spend most of our time making doors for houses and offices. It’s a straightforward job, really. We take the measurements, cut the materials, and put them together. We have a few machines that help, but a lot of it is still done by hand to make sure it looks right. The workshop can get a bit cluttered with offcuts and shavings, but we clear it out every few days. We don’t bother with big advertising campaigns or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or the contractors they’re working with. Sometimes a customer comes by with a specific design they saw somewhere, and we see if we can replicate it with what we have. It’s not always perfect, but it’s sturdy and honest. We enjoy the work and the people we meet. Bhor is a nice place to work, especially when the weather is clear and the sun hits the workshop. We just keep making doors one by one and trying to do a decent job for anyone who walks through the gate. There is no secret to it, just measuring twice and cutting once to avoid mistakes.
