Kiran Aluminium

Kiran Aluminium is located out on Sinhagad Road. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get out here, especially during the morning rush. The shop is pretty straightforward because we mostly deal with metal and frames all day long. There are usually stacks of aluminium sections leaning against the walls, and the floor always has a bit of metal dust on it no matter how much we sweep. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny; it’s more of a working space where things actually get built. The noise from the road outside is constant, but we just get on with our work. People pull up on their bikes and ask about prices or wait for us to finish a small piece of work they need for their homes. We don't have a big front desk or anyone in a suit waiting to talk to you. You’ll usually find us with a tape measure or a saw in hand. Sometimes the air gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop, but we just keep the doors open to let whatever breeze there is come through. It’s a simple business on a busy road. We’ve been here long enough that most of the nearby shopkeepers are friends. We just focus on getting the aluminium cut and ready for whoever needs it.
