Alluminium Works

Alluminium Works is tucked into the Mukund Nagar area, specifically within the DSK Chandradeep Society at E-1104. Since we are based near a residential society, we have to be a bit more careful about the noise we make compared to a big factory. We do a lot of our work in a smaller space, focusing on things like window frames, railings, and light aluminium structures. You can usually find a few of us bent over a workbench, filing down a rough edge or measuring out a piece of channel. The shop is filled with the silver-colored scraps that come off the saw, and we try to keep it tidy so the neighbors don't complain. It’s a very local feel here. Sometimes people from the society walk by and poke their heads in to see what we are making. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who have learned the trade over the years. Our tools are well-used and have been repaired many times. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, we just show them a piece of work we’re currently doing to give them an idea of how it looks. It’s a modest way to work, but it keeps us busy and we like the community around Mukund Nagar. The days go by fast when we have a steady stream of small jobs to finish up.
