Sha Bhimaji Doors

Sha Bhimaji Doors is right in the middle of the New Timber Market over in Bhawani Peth. If you know the area, we are quite close to Ramoshi Gate, which is how most people find their way to us. The whole market smells like cut wood and sawdust, which is something you never really get out of your clothes when you work here. Our place at 257/2 is a busy spot where we spend most of the day moving stock around and talking to carpenters or homeowners who are looking for something specific. It is a loud environment with trucks backing in and out and the sound of wood being loaded, but it is a good kind of busy. We have a lot of heavy items leaning against the walls, so you have to watch your step when you walk through the shop. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and take a break for tea when things slow down for a minute. Bhawani Peth is a historic kind of place, and being part of the timber trade here feels like we are part of something that has been going on for generations. We don't have any polished sales floor or air conditioning to show off. It is just a workspace where we handle doors all day long. We keep it simple, talk straight with people, and try to make sure we keep track of everything in this hectic market.
