Joss

Joss operates out of unit F204 in the Kapil Abhijat building, which sits in Dahanukar Colony in Kothrud, Pune. Kothrud is a well-known part of the city, and Dahanukar Colony is a nice, established area where people generally enjoy living and working. Our space is basically a converted flat, which makes it feel a lot more grounded than a big glass office tower. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, and the main living space is where the desks and computers are set up. From the windows of F204, we can see the other buildings in the complex and the trees that line the streets of the colony. It is a peaceful place to spend the day. Pune has changed a lot since we first set up here, but this corner of Kothrud still feels familiar. We don't have a big staff or a lot of fuss. It is just a few of us doing what needs to be done. We usually walk down to the local shops if we need a snack or some supplies. Being in a residential complex like Kapil Abhijat means we have to be mindful of our neighbors, so we keep things relatively quiet. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of workplace where we focus on our tasks without any of the corporate drama you might find elsewhere. The elevator can be a bit slow during the morning rush, so some of us just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s a good way to start.
