Jet Goods Carrier

The office is over at Paras Complex in Sambhaji Nagar. We are right by 11 Chinchwad Thermax Chowk. It’s a busy spot for trucks and big vehicles moving through the city. You can usually find a few of our drivers hanging around outside the door or checking their logs before they head out. The office itself is pretty basic and functional. We have a metal desk, a phone that rings too much, and a lot of logbooks piled up on the shelf. There’s usually dust from the road that gets inside no matter how much we sweep the floor. We deal with moving goods from one place to another. It involves a lot of waiting and a lot of talking to people on the highway over the phone. We’ve got maps on the wall that are a bit faded from the sun. The chairs aren't the most comfortable in the world, but we aren't sitting in them for very long anyway. We’re usually checking the loading or making sure the paperwork is right for the next trip. It’s a tough business sometimes, especially when the weather is bad or the traffic is backed up on the main roads. We don't have a big corporate logo or anything like that. People know us by the name on the side of the trucks. We’ve been operating out of Chinchwad for years. It’s a loud, gritty job, but it’s what we do.
