Jaipur Crafts

You can find Jaipur Crafts over at A 5 Libeuty 2 on North Main Road. We are right opposite Lane Number 5 in Koregaon Park. It’s a good spot to be in because there’s always something happening outside. We have a lot of stuff packed into our space here. It’s not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is kept. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through things or packing stuff up. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Most of the time, the front door is just open to let some air in. The traffic on North Main Road is constant, so there’s a bit of background noise all the time. We’ve grown used to it though. We are just a small group of people working together. Some of us have been here since the beginning. We don't go in for big meetings or long discussions. We just see what needs to be done and then we do it. The building itself is an older one, so it has some character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We like being in this part of Pune. It’s got a specific energy that keeps us going. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the crafts and the orders that come through. It is a very hands-on way of spending the day and we like the feeling of finishing up a long task.
