If you come down to Ghorpadi, you’ll find us near Sai Aashish Society. At Jai Enterprises, we do a mix of things involving interiors and gardens. It’s a bit of a messy job because one day I’m dealing with dirt and plants, and the next day I’m looking at furniture or paint for a room. We work in the area around the society a lot. I usually have mud on my boots if I’ve been out checking on the plants, or I’ve got paint stains on my hands. We don't have a fancy office with a receptionist. It’s more of a practical space where we keep our tools and some samples of materials. I spend a lot of time walking between the garden projects and the indoor work. The weather in Ghorpadi can be tough on the plants, so we spend a lot of time just making sure everything is getting enough water. When we are working on the interiors, it’s all about the tape measure and making sure the cabinets fit right. It’s just a few of us doing the work, so we handle everything ourselves. We don't use big marketing slogans. We just show up, do the planting or the fixing, and move on to the next task. It’s a busy life, and the days go by fast when you’re moving between the outdoors and the indoors all the time. It is hard work but we are used to it.
