J K Udyog

J K Udyog is situated at A-126 in the H-Block of the MIDC in Pimpri. We are right in the thick of the industrial belt, surrounded by other workshops and small factories. Our unit is a simple structure that has seen a lot of use over the years. The gates are usually left open during the day so the breeze can circulate through the workspace. We have a regular routine that starts early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes a problem. The work we do involves a lot of manual handling and being on our feet for most of the shift. There’s no air conditioning here, just a couple of big industrial fans that move the air around. We have a small corner where we keep our logs and paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The street outside is often blocked by trucks or people moving heavy crates, which is just part of life in the H-Block. We’ve been at this location for a good while and have a decent rapport with the other business owners on our road. If we need a tool or some advice, we usually just walk over to the next unit. It’s a community of makers and workers who are all just trying to get through the daily grind and finish their tasks.
