J K Enterprises has been sitting here in Uruli Devachi 11 for a while now. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping things moving. We handle a bit of everything that comes through the door. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we get the work done. People around here know us because we’ve been in the same spot for years. Some days are busier than others, especially when the local traffic picks up. We don't have a big office or a front desk person. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us fixing something or sorting through papers at the back. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but we don't mind much. We just focus on what needs doing today. If someone calls, we try to answer, but sometimes we're tied up with a job. It's a simple operation really. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. Most folks find us just by passing by or hearing from a neighbor. The building is old but it stays cool in the heat. We keep the kettle going for tea in the afternoons. It's just a regular local business trying to stay steady. We know most of the people who stop in by their first names. It makes the day go by faster when you're talking to familiar faces. That's pretty much how we run things everyday in this corner of the town.
