Isapl is run by Subhash Ramkrishna Pataskar and the rest of us here in Kothrud, Pune. Our office is actually Flat No 1 in the 3 Wa Apartments. If you know Pune, you know Kothrud is a busy place with a lot of history and a very local feel. Working out of an apartment means we don’t have a big sign or a reception desk. It’s just a door with a small nameplate. Inside, we’ve turned the living spaces into work areas. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we are all here at once, but it works for what we do. We don’t bother with fancy business language or trying to sound bigger than we are. We are just a small team handling our daily responsibilities. The Wa Apartments are quiet enough that we can focus, though you can always hear the scooters on the road outside. We drink a lot of chai and spend most of our time on our computers. It’s a very simple existence. There are no big meetings or polished speeches here. We just talk across the room to get things sorted. Being in Kothrud, we are close to some good food spots, which is the best part of our day sometimes. We just keep doing our work, one day at a time, without any extra noise or unnecessary complications.
