Interior Innovations

Living and working around Sadashiv Peth has its own rhythm. We are tucked away in Shramik Nagar at number 7. People know us as Interior Innovations, though the name sounds a bit more grand than the actual shop. It's really just a couple of rooms filled with stuff. We have fabric swatches that haven't been touched in years and some new ones that everyone wants. The floor is a bit uneven, so the chairs sometimes wobble when you sit down to talk. We don't have a big fancy office. Most of our planning happens on a wooden table that’s seen better days. It is quiet here mostly, which is nice for thinking about layouts and colors. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by the door. We don't mind. We just get on with the day. We try to keep track of all the new materials coming out, but it's hard to keep up sometimes. Usually, someone is in the back cutting something or looking for a lost tape measure. It's a small team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. It works for us. We are just local people doing what we know how to do. No big speeches or fancy promises. Just work and making sure we have enough coffee to get through the afternoon.
