If you’re looking for us, we’re at A 24 Soba Park. It’s right near Guruganesh Nagar in Kothrud. Pune can be a bit chaotic, but this little corner is okay. At Infosys Technologies Pune, we just have a simple setup. It’s a residential-style building converted into a workspace. We have our desks lined up, and the lighting is just okay. There’s a small space where we keep our bags and coats. Most days are pretty quiet, punctuated by the sound of the doorbell or the water cooler. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few notes pinned up. The walk to the main road takes about five minutes. Kothrud is a nice area with lots of trees, which makes the walk pleasant in the evenings. We’ve known the security guard at the gate for years now. He’s a nice guy. Inside, we just go about our business. There are stacks of paper here and there, and everyone has their favorite mug for tea. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we do our work. We arrive in the morning, do what needs doing, and head home. It's just a regular office for regular people. Sometimes we bring in sweets if it's someone's birthday or something like that. It keeps us going through the long afternoons. It is a decent, humble place to spend the work week.
