Infosys Technologies Ltd

Our office is tucked away in Flat No 5 at Kothari Apartments on Dhanori Road. Being in a residential building in Bhairav Nagar makes the whole workday feel a lot more personal than sitting in a giant tech park. It is just a regular apartment that we have filled with computers and servers for Infosys Technologies Ltd. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, though we often forget to water them. The rooms are a bit cramped because of all the files and hardware we have stacked up. We mostly do our technical work and support from here without much fuss. Vishrantwadi is a busy area but our little corner is relatively quiet except for the occasional car horn. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You just ring the bell and one of us will let you in. We take our shoes off at the entrance like it is a home. For lunch, we either bring boxes from home or go to the small mess nearby that serves decent thalis. It is not a corporate lifestyle by any means. We just focus on the projects we are given and try to finish them on time. It is a practical way to work and we have been here for a few years now. We like the local vibe of the area.
