Our office for Infomedia is located at 1054 Ramnagar, in the Manikbaug area along Sinhgad Road in Pune. If you know Pune, you know Sinhgad Road is famous for its long traffic jams, so we have all learned to be very patient during our commutes. The office is in a residential-style building, which is quite common in this part of the city. We are surrounded by shops, small eateries, and houses. It is a very lived-in neighborhood. Inside, the setup is quite basic. We have our computers and some shelving for all the documents we keep. There is a small window that lets in a bit of sunlight, but mostly we just have the overhead lights on. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive chairs. We just focus on the work at hand. Most of us take the local buses or ride our bikes to get here. There is a nice bakery nearby where we often go to get biscuits in the afternoon when we need a break from the screens. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really stop us from doing what we need to do. It is a practical space for a practical team. We have been in this Manikbaug spot for several years now, so we have seen the area change quite a bit as more buildings have gone up. It is a steady place for us to work every day.
