We are up here on the second floor of Agarwal Chambers on Anand Mahal Road in Nigdi. It’s one of those buildings where you know everyone’s face after a week. Induraj Consultants has been operating out of room 206 for a good while now. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Most days it is just us sitting around the desks dealing with whatever comes in through the door or over the phone. It gets pretty busy around mid-morning. You can hear the traffic from the road outside if the windows are open, but we usually keep them shut to keep the dust out. People come by for all sorts of advice and help with their paperwork. It isn't a fancy place with leather chairs or anything. We just have our files, some old computers, and a kettle that gets used a lot for tea. Sometimes the lighting in the hallway flickers, but inside we’ve got it sorted out. We know the local shops around here pretty well since that’s where we get our lunch most days. It’s a practical spot to work from. There is a lot of back and forth with clients, and we spend a lot of time just organizing things so they don't get lost. It is basically just a group of us trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss or drama.
