Indira Kids

We've been running Indira Kids here in Baner for a while now. It's right near the Malwani Gajali Hotel on the main road. The school is inside Atharva Residency at Sr No 83/3 A 2. Most days are busy with children running around. We keep things pretty simple. It’s a space where kids spend their morning hours while parents are at work. The rooms are set up for play and some basic learning. We try to keep the place tidy but with kids, things get messy fast. It’s just how it goes. People in the neighborhood know us well. We aren't doing anything fancy. Just making sure there is a safe spot for the little ones to be together. Sometimes the traffic on Baner Road is a bit much during drop-off, but we manage. The staff here lives nearby mostly. We talk to the parents every afternoon when they come to pick up their children. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a huge playground, but the kids don’t seem to mind much. They mostly just like playing with the blocks and the drawings on the walls. It feels more like a home than a big school building. That’s probably why the kids settle in quickly. We just do our work day by day and try to keep everyone happy. It’s a decent place for the kids to start out before they go to the bigger schools later on.
