Ilak Consulting

We are set up in Flat 503 over at Oriole in Nyati Enclave. It’s right across from DPS in the Kondhwa area of Pune, so we get to see all the school traffic every morning and afternoon. Consulting is what we do, which mostly means we spend our days on the phone or sitting at our computers going over different files and projects. It’s a quiet enough spot for the kind of thinking and planning we have to do. We don't have a big storefront or anything, since most of our work happens through meetings and emails anyway. Being in Mohammadwadi is nice because it’s a bit away from the heaviest city chaos, but still close enough to get things done when we need to. We started Ilak Consulting because we had some expertise to share and figured a small, dedicated office was the best way to handle it. You might find some old coffee mugs on the desks and stacks of folders that need filing, but that’s just the reality of a working office. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We just focus on the task at hand for whoever we’re working with that day. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to digging through data. It works for us and keeps things moving forward without any unnecessary drama or corporate polish.
