Our base of operations for Ideb Projects P Ltd is at Survey Number 43 1B. We’re situated near the No Or Masjid in the Kondhawa Khurd area of Pune. The 411048 area is pretty lively, and there’s always a lot of movement around the masjid. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the planning happens. We deal with various projects and it usually involves a lot of blueprints and site visits. Pune is a city that’s constantly building something new, so we fit right in. We have a small crew and we’ve worked together for a long time. There’s no corporate hierarchy here; we just all pitch in where we’re needed. Sometimes the rain in Pune makes it hard to get to the sites, but we manage. We aren't into using big words to describe what we do. We just look at the plans and try to make sure everything stays on track. The office can get a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical environment for people who like to get their hands dirty. We’re not looking for awards or fame. We just want to finish the work we started and move on to the next task. It’s a simple way of working, and it keeps us grounded in the local community. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby and talk about what’s next for the afternoon projects.
