You can find us at 342/1 in Rasta Peth. We have been here for a good amount of time now, focusing on eyes and helping people with their glasses. It is a small shop, not one of those big national chains you see in the fancy shopping malls. We have the frames displayed on the walls and the equipment in the back for checking people’s vision. A lot of the people who come in to see us are older folks from the neighborhood who have been coming to this same street for years and years. We try to keep things quiet and simple inside. Sometimes we get a bit backed up if three or four people walk in at once, but we just ask them to have a seat and wait a little while. We do not use any high-pressure sales tactics here. If you need new lenses, we tell you that. If your old frames can be fixed with a tiny screw or a bit of adjustment, we just do that for you. It is a slow-paced kind of place, which is how we like it. The street outside can be pretty noisy with all the scooters and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. We clean the glass cases every morning and keep our records in the old drawers. It is not a complicated business, but it is important to people.
