Our office is located at Survey No 112 in the Shivnagar part of Sutarwadi, which is in Pashan, Pune. We spend our time working on irrigation plans and helping people figure out their water systems. It’s practical stuff that involves a lot of looking at maps and thinking about how pipes should go into the ground. Pune has grown so much lately, but our corner in Pashan stays relatively calm compared to the city center. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. It’s just us and our desks. Hiremath Irrigation Consultancy isn't a huge name, just a local business doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we have to go out and look at fields, so our shoes get a bit muddy. That is just part of the job when you deal with irrigation. We don't use any fancy language to describe our work. We just look at the land and the water and try to find a way to make it work better. It’s a lot of calculating and drawing. We’ve been at this address for a good while and we know the area pretty well. People come to us because they have a specific problem they need solved, not because they saw an ad. We just keep it simple and focus on the technical details. That's the way we've always done things here. We just like solving these water problems for the people who come to see us.
