We work out of Parvati Apartment, which is right by the Jakat Naka on Pimpri Palanpur Road. It’s number 3 if you’re looking for the exact spot. It’s more of a functional space for us since we deal with motors and cranes. Most of our day isn't spent sitting in an office; we are usually out dealing with the machinery or handling calls for help. The yard can get pretty dusty and oily, but that’s just the nature of the business. We’ve been around this area for a good number of years now. People know us for being the ones to call when something heavy needs moving or a motor breaks down. It’s not a glamorous job. We get grease on our hands and we spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun. The apartment building where we have our base is a familiar sight for everyone who drives past the Jakat Naka. We keep our tools and some of the smaller equipment stored there. It’s a bit of a walk to the main road, but we don't mind. We usually start our day very early, sometimes before the sun is even up, if there’s a big job waiting. It’s a lot of physical work and it can be tiring, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment properly. We just keep our heads down and do the work until it's finished.
