In Bijali Nagar, specifically around Kranti Nagar, things are a bit quieter than the main city centers of Pune. Gyani Mehrotra is based right here, and we’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a sturdy place that keeps us dry when it rains and gives us a spot to work. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls are a plain color and we have some old wooden desks that have been with us since the very start. You won't find any glossy brochures or fancy reception desks here. It is mostly just us dealing with the daily tasks that come our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We see the same people walking their dogs or heading to the market every morning. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We handle our business with a lot of patience. There’s no rush to be the biggest company around. We just want to do right by the people who come to see us. The air in Kranti Nagar feels a bit different than the crowded parts of town, maybe a bit more relaxed. We keep a ledger on the desk and a pot of water for guests. It’s a straightforward way to live and work, and we don't feel the need to change it.
