Gurukripa Ayurved Clinic

I work over at Shop No. 6 in the Shwetambari Bldg. It’s tucked away near the Navashya Maruti Mandir. If you’ve ever been on Sinhagad Road, you know it gets pretty hectic with all the traffic and noise. Most days, I’m here early to open up the clinic. The smell of the herbs is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a small shop, not one of those big fancy medical centers. We have some wooden shelves where we keep everything and a few chairs for when people are waiting. I spend a lot of time just cleaning and making sure the jars are in the right spots. Sometimes, when the temple across the way is having a festival, the bells are so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but it’s a nice sound to have in the background. Most of our visitors are just locals from the neighborhood. They stop in after visiting the mandir or on their way home from the market. It’s a simple routine. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. We just have our name on the glass door and a small desk where I sit to talk to whoever walks in. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just doing what we can with the space we have here on Sinhagad Road. It’s not much, but it’s our little corner of the world.
