Grape Processing Research Institute

The Grape Processing Research Institute is situated in the Swapnapurti building, which is right in front of the Primary Health Centre in Warulwadi. Narayangaon is a place where grapes are a big deal, so being here makes a lot of sense for what we do. It’s a busy little area in Tal Junnar. Most of our days are spent inside the labs or checking on the local crops. It isn't a flashy office with modern art on the walls. It’s more of a practical space where people wear lab coats and look at data all day. The health centre across the street means there’s always people coming and going. Sometimes the parking is a bit of a mess, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’ve been part of the Pune district community for quite a while now. The work we do is pretty specific to the agriculture around here. We aren't trying to sell anything fancy; we just focus on the research and the processing side of things. It can be a bit quiet inside the institute, which helps when you’re trying to concentrate on technical details. The building itself is sturdy and does the job. If you ever find yourself in Narayangaon looking for us, just ask for the place near the health centre. Most people know where it is. It’s just a regular part of the local landscape here in Warulwadi, nothing more, nothing less.
