This office belongs to the Government of Maharashtra, specifically for the Chief Engineer of the Koyna Project. We are located at 15 Sarang Society in Sahakarnagar, Pune-9. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s not like those big glass office buildings downtown. We are tucked away in the society, which makes it a bit quieter for the staff to get through the daily files. There is always a lot of work related to the project. It’s a lot of technical stuff and government procedures. We don't have any fancy receptionists or shiny furniture. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. People come here when they have business with the project. We try to keep things moving, though government work has its own pace. Sahakarnagar is a well-known part of Pune, so finding us isn't too hard if you have the address. We don't spend any time on promotional stuff because that’s not what we are here for. We just manage the engineering and administrative side of things for the Koyna Project. It’s a steady job and we take it one day at a time. The office at Sarang Society has been our base for a while now. We just show up, do the hours, and make sure the records are kept straight. It’s practical work for the state. Nothing flashy or corporate about how we operate here at number 15.
