Globe Transport Corporation is situated in Nigdi Yashwant Nagar, specifically at Plot No 24 in Sector No 23 of Transport Nagar. If you know the area, you know it is always packed with vehicles and people moving things around. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a loud place, with horns honking and people loading crates all day long. We have a simple setup here. There are a couple of wooden desks and some old fans that keep the air moving during the hot afternoons. Our days are mostly about tracking the different shipments and making sure the drivers have their papers in order before they head out on the long routes. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the only thing that keeps us going during a busy shift. We don’t try to act like we’re some huge company with shiny buildings. We’re just local people trying to keep the transport business running smoothly. There are always challenges, like when a truck breaks down or a road is closed for repairs. We just take it one day at a time and try to be as practical as possible about the whole thing. It’s a lot of coordination, but we’ve got a rhythm down after all this time in Nigdi.
