General Fabricators

Our shop is over in Gultekdi, right on 17th Main in the 5th Block. It is an area where people are always making things or moving stuff around. We have been here for a good while. The space is a bit rough around the edges, with some oil stains on the floor and metal scraps tucked into the corners. It’s a fabrication business, so there is always the sound of cutting or welding going on. It can get pretty loud, and we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the machines. We wear our work clothes and don't worry too much about getting dirty. It is hard work, and the days are long, especially when we have a big order to finish. We take our breaks sitting on whatever is handy, usually chatting about the weather or local news. The air is often thick with the smell of metal and dust. We don't have a fancy front office for meetings; people just come back to where we are working. It’s a practical setup and it works for us. We know the other shop owners on this block, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other. It’s that kind of place. We just focus on getting the pieces built and out the door on time. It is not pretty, but it is honest work and we stay busy most weeks because there is always something to weld or fix around here.
