Gem Associate

Our office is located over in Erandwane, specifically in Patil Colony near the Dandekar Bridge. The address is 39-32. It’s a part of town that stays pretty busy with traffic coming off the bridge. You can hear the bikes and cars zooming past all day long. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it serves its purpose. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and desks. The walls are a plain off-white color and could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually. We have a lot of old binders filled with records from over the years stacked on the shelves. Most days, we’re just sitting here working through the paperwork and taking calls. It’s the kind of place where you know where everything is even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. There’s a small balcony where we keep some dusty plants that we sometimes remember to water. People drop in to talk about their requirements, and we just sit in the plastic chairs and go over the details. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We just turn on the fans and keep going. It’s a straightforward work environment where we handle our tasks and try to stay on top of the schedule. We don't worry too much about appearances as long as the work gets done.
