Ganesh Traders

Ganesh Traders is based out of Hadapsar Vadgadi 1197. It’s more of a warehouse and trade spot than a shop. We have a lot of space, but it’s mostly filled with goods and supplies. The floors are concrete and there’s always a bit of a chill in the air in the mornings. We deal with various items that come through Hadapsar. Most of our work involves loading and unloading trucks or checking inventory lists. It’s physical work and it can be tiring. We don't have an office with air conditioning or comfortable chairs. Usually, we’re just sitting on stools or standing around the loading dock. We’ve been at this location, number 1197, for several years. Ganesh Traders isn't a place where people come to browse. It’s where business happens in a very direct way. We talk to suppliers, we talk to drivers, and we keep things moving. We don't have a logo or a slogan. We just have our name on some of the paperwork and the building. The neighborhood is full of other traders, so it’s always loud with the sound of vehicles and people shouting. Sometimes the record-keeping gets a bit behind, but we always catch up eventually. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just show up at the warehouse every day and see what needs to be moved. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we do.
