We've been here at Himalaya House for quite a while now. It's a busy spot on Overlock Road, right in the Bairoba Nal area. Usually, people come in looking for a specific screw or a pipe fitting they can't seem to find anywhere else. We try our best to keep the shelves stocked with the basics, from hammers to different types of wrenches and plumbing supplies. Dealing with hardware is mostly about knowing exactly where everything is kept in the back rooms. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty and messy, but that's just how it goes when you deal with construction stuff and metal tools all day. We handle a lot of local folks from around Range Hills who are just trying to fix a leak or put up a shelf in their kitchen. If you've been around this part of town, you probably saw our sign hanging out front. It's not a fancy place, just rows of plastic boxes and heavy tools hanging on the walls. We spend most of our mornings opening crates and checking what's arrived in the latest delivery. Often, customers come in with a broken part in their hand and we spend ten minutes trying to match the thread size for them. It’s practical, everyday work. We don't really do big displays or shiny advertisements, just the essential items people need for their houses. The shop is small but we manage to cram a lot of stock into the corners.
