Freelancer

I've been working out of this spot at Kumar Presidency for a while now. It’s over in Koregaon Park, right on Mira Road. Most people know the area because it stays pretty busy, but my place at A 302 is actually quiet enough to get things done. I started Freelancer just because I needed a way to handle the local work coming my way without all the fuss of a big office setup. It is just me and sometimes a friend helping out when things get a bit too much to manage alone. The building is okay, nothing fancy, but it works for what we do. Pune is a good place to be, even with the traffic getting worse every year. Sometimes I just walk down the street to grab a tea when the screen gets too tiring. I don't really have a big team or anything like that. It’s just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of coffee. We mostly handle whatever comes through the door or over the phone. I like being in this part of town because everything is close by. If you’re looking for the place, it’s not hard to find if you know the landmark. It’s just a regular setup where we sit and grind through the tasks every day. It’s not a corporate thing, just a local operation trying to keep things moving. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and we're there. It's a very straightforward way to run a business.
