Free Lancer

I run my freelance business out of Natraj Society in Karvenagar. It’s Plot No 89, a fairly quiet spot compared to some other parts of Pune. I like it here because it lets me focus on the tasks I have at hand without too many distractions. Being a freelancer in Pune 52 means I get to work with a variety of local people and sometimes folks from further away. I don't have a big staff or a storefront. It’s just me in my home office getting through the daily list of things to do. I’ve been doing this for a few years now and I’ve realized that I prefer the quiet life of working for myself. My day usually involves a lot of coffee and a lot of screen time. I don't try to make things sound more impressive than they are. I’m just a guy with some skills who decided to stop working for a boss and start doing things my own way. Karvenagar is a nice area with plenty of trees and a decent neighborhood feel, which makes the work-from-home life a lot more pleasant. Sometimes I go for a walk in the society grounds when I get stuck on a problem. It’s a simple existence but it works for me. I don't need a polished office in a tech park to do good work. This house in Natraj Society is more than enough.
