You’ll find Fanuc India Pvt. Ltd. out in the Chakan Industrial Area, specifically Phase-III in Kurali Village. We are located at plot G-4/2. It’s a long drive out here from the main city, especially with all the industrial traffic and the big containers on the road. The area is mostly factories and warehouses. Inside our gates, things are usually pretty orderly. We work on the technical side of things, dealing with machines and systems that companies use in their plants. It's a lot of technical stuff but we try to keep it simple when we talk to folks. The office is right there with the workshop space. Sometimes the dust from the construction nearby gets in, but we keep things running. We have a lot of engineers coming and going all day. Lunch is usually a quick affair in the break room or someone brings in stuff from home to share. It’s quiet out here in Kurali compared to the city, but the work keeps us on our toes. We’ve seen this whole industrial zone grow from almost nothing to what it is today. It used to be just open fields before all these companies moved in. Now it's a hub of activity. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the machines are doing what they’re supposed to do. It takes a lot of patience to work in this environment but we don't mind.
